ABOUT ME
I am an economist working as a Research Professor at VATT Institute for Economic Research in Helsinki, Finland. I am also an Academy Research Fellow of the Academy of Finland. I am further affiliated with CESifo institute in Germany. My main research areas are public economics and labor economics. I have focused on analysing consumption tax, income tax and benefit policies. I have empirically analysed the effect of these policies on behaviour of taxpayers and firms, and to what extent they evade these taxes.

I have a PhD in Economics from University of Helsinki. I am proud to be a part of a large international research network with co-authors from MIT, University of Michigan, Uppsala University and UCLA as well as University of Turku, VATT and Aalto University.
